I was born and raised in Cleveland, Texas, not Ohio.

I picked up painting a few years ago while in community college.

After graduating from the University of Houston, I was accepted into
the Academy at GS&P the next day. The Academy is a yearlong portfolio school inside the walls of Goodby Silverstein & Partners.

I got the line “Buy the ticket, take the ride” from the novel 
Fear and Loathing is tattooed on my left arm in Ralph Steadman’s art style.
The quote has resonated with me since I moved to SF, especially since I’d never left Texas before.

I told myself I would face any obstacle or challenge head-on.
Now I’m looking for my next challenge.
